Music Ministry

God's gifts and calls some of our membership to service through music. At Tulip Grove, a wide variety of gifts are utilized through singing in our adult choir or youth choir and playing instruments in our orchestra, rhythm section, and handbell groups.

Music Ministries at TGBC

Adult Choir

The Adult Choir offers a wonderful opportunity for adults of all ages with varying degrees of training and skill to blend their voices to create a beautiful musical offering to our Lord. This choir leads in worship every Sunday morning and special musical productions.

Orchestra

Our Orchestra plays in most Sunday morning worship services and special musicals. It is open by audition to all wind and string instrumentalists.

Handbells

Membership in our adult handbell ensemble is open to adults who read music and is based on openings in the group. Handbells regularly lead in worship from September through May. This group travels to nursing homes and other venues to share their music and also participates annually in the state handbell festival.

Youth Choir

The Youth Choir is a vibrant and growing group of talented and energetic students in grades 7-12 who enjoy good fellowship and exciting music in a variety of styles. This choir leads in worship often on Sunday evenings and periodically on Sunday mornings. They also present special concerts and regularly take out-of-state tours to share the gospel through music.

Children's Choirs

We have a complete graded children's choir program that begins with preschoolers (age 4) and continues with children through grade 6. In these choirs, children benefit from meaningful, cumulative instruction in musical skills and activities that include singing, playing rhythm instruments, and participating in various musical games.
