Kids in Worship
At Tulip Grove, we welcome kids into the worship service. Kids in kindergarten and older join their families in worship. Kids learn to worship by watching and participating with their families and their church family. In addition to singing, praying, and reading Scripture, kids can listen for suggested keywords throughout the worship time.
We have Extended Teaching Care (ETC) for younger children. Preschoolers up to 4 years old can enjoy quality learning experiences in a secure environment while their families attend Sunday morning worship service.
Beyond Sunday Morning
Tulip Grove offers many learning opportunities beyond Sunday morning for kids to learn the gospel, love the gospel, and live the gospel.
Music
We have a complete graded children's choir program that begins with preschoolers (age 4) and continues with children through grade 6. In these choirs, children benefit from meaningful, cumulative instruction in musical skills and activities that include singing, playing rhythm instruments, and participating in various musical games.
Missions: Mission Friends
Mission Friends meet every Wednesday night 6:45-7:30 in the classrooms on the second floor of the educational building to involve preschoolers and kindergartners in learning, praying, giving, and doing missions.
Missions: Girls in Action
Girls in Action (GAs) meet each Wednesday 6:45-7:30 pm on the third floor of the educational building. They participate in monthly missions projects to give them hands-on experience with missions work and combine fun with learning through activities such as the annual GA Sleepover, JAM, and GA/RA Picnic and Kickball Game.
Missions: Royal Ambassadors
Royal Ambassador (RAs) meet each Wednesday 6:45-7:30 pm on the third floor of the educational building. They participate in monthly missions projects to give them hands-on experience with missions work and combine fun with learning through activities such as the annual RA Campout, JAM, and GA/RA Picnic and Kickball Game.
Special Events and Classes
Kids can learn more about the gospel through special events, such as Vacation Bible School, and through other classes and studies, such as the New Christians Class and Children's Bible Drill. All that we do focuses on helping preschoolers and children know Jesus, grow in their faith, and serve others.
Mother's Day Out
Our MDO Ministry was established to provide families in our community and church with a preschool program of exceptional quality that helps young children grow in the knowledge of God and His love, and gives them a firm foundation for their educational future.
