Adults

The Adult Ministry at Tulip Grove Baptist Church focuses on leading adults to be disciples and make disciples of Jesus Christ. Adults of all ages can understand Scripture and grow in biblical literacy (learn the gospel). Through the work of the Holy Spirit, adults respond to the call of salvation and embrace the truths of Scripture (love the gospel). They can help others understand the gospel message in our city, state, country, and all over the world (live the gospel).

Worship

All family members gather together to worship God. Our multigenerational worship includes diverse music and a central emphasis on the Word of God. Adults of all ages and skills lead our worship services through prayer, Scripture reading, and music.

Beyond Sunday Morning

Tulip Grove offers many learning opportunities beyond Sunday morning for adults to learn the gospel, love the gospel, and live the gospel.
Spiritual Growth Institute

Our Spiritual Growth Institute is based on three areas of study.  Theological Studies, Spiritual Disciplines and Missional living. These prepare our people to Learn, Love and Live the gospel of Jesus Christ. These classes change in the fall and spring quarter. Learn More

Bible Studies

These classes take place throughout the week and are designed for different demographics at different times. They are lead by teachers who love the gospel and want to share what the Lord has been teaching them with our fellowship.  They also have a beginning date and an end date.

Music: Adult Choir

The Adult Choir offers a wonderful opportunity for adults of all ages with varying degrees of training and skill to blend their voices to create a beautiful musical offering to our Lord. This choir leads in worship every Sunday morning and special musical productions.

Music: Handbells/Orchestra

Membership in our adult handbell ensemble is open to adults who read music and is based on openings in the group. Handbells regularly lead in worship from September through May. This group travels to nursing homes and other venues to share their music and also participates annually in the state handbell festival.

Our orchestra plays in most Sunday morning worship services and special musicals. It is open by audition to all wind and string instrumentalists.

Theology Nights

Theology Night is an opportunity to encourage one another to pursue God passionately, to share how the study of God has made a difference in your life, and to hold each other accountable in our time with God. Learn More

Men's Ministry

Tulip Grove Baptist Church offers a wide variety of programs that are designed for men in the church. To help grow you in service to others in the name of Jesus Christ, we welcome you to join a ministry group.

Women's Ministry

Women of Tulip Grove Baptist Church have many opportunities to worship, connect, serve, and grow in their faith. The Women’s Ministry focus is life-changing discipleship that leads women into a life that reflects Christ. Through Bible studies, retreats, mentoring, and prayer groups, women may grow in their faith (learn and love the gospel) and utilize their spiritual gifts (live the gospel).

Senior Adult Ministry

The Senior Adult Ministry exists to develop senior adults through Bible study, missions, service, and fellowship. We seek to identify needs of senior adults in our church and community and then move to meet those needs, using our individual talents and abilities as well as our corporate resources. Above all, we uphold the ideals of senior adults ministering to senior adults, and strive to equip them to be true disciples as they live the gospel.

MIssions: WOM Daughters of the King

WoM Daughters of the King meet the second Monday of each month at 10:00 am at the church in Room 100. Each monthly meeting includes dynamic speakers from various ministries supported by our church as well as missionaries who have served in North America or around the world. This speaker is followed by lunch and a time of fellowship.

MIssions: WOM Sisters

WoM Sisters meet the first Tuesday of each month 6:30-9:00 pm in different women's homes. It is an evening multi-focus Women on Mission group with missions speakers, projects, prayer, and fellowship whose mission statement is "to create a multigenerational bond where doing life together for His kingdom is our desire as we live out His mission."
